Area code?  This is an international forum.  Not that I personally need any
kittens.

Even the country or continent would help ...

I'd travel to Iceland for a free kitty or two!

*BE CAREFUL*!!!  You can never be sure who will respond to an ad like this,
or for what purpose.  You need to carefully screen any who reply.  In
addition, the kittens should not free.  You should charge for food and
veterinary bills just to make sure that anyone who wants to adopts really
wants a pet and does not have some more devious (and possibly cruel) purpose
in mind.

Good points all, Mary. Also, find a vet who does early spay/neuter, and
get them neutered before you let them go, if you're adopting to someone
you don't know or trust to do it. It's the responsible thing to do. If
you're not comfortable "selling" the kittens, ask for a partial/full
rebate for the surgery costs. Anyone who isn't willing to spend a few
bucks to reimburse for that, doesn't need a kitten and probably won't
spend money on it for necessary vet care later on.

Yes, do be careful. When looking to buy a (non-pedigree) kitten a couple of
years ago I stumbled upon a guy who was getting "kittens for free" and then
selling them for ?40.

I became suspicious after he asked me "what sort of kitten do you want?"
when I asked him what he had!!!

I reported him to our local RSPCA man - who is lovely and often pops into my
shop for a cuppa. He warned him that he was breaking the law, and
confiscated all the kittens he had.

What will people think of next? Shocking.
