It's best to take your cat to the vet. It could be parasites, or other
intestinal problems. After four days, he or she may be dehydrated along
with whatever else is going on.

Let us know what you find out.

Hey,

My cat has had diarrhea for a week. I smells so bad! I took him to the vet,
and he was clear of parasites, so it's just stress - and dealing with a new
house.

Oh my God, the smell of his sh.t is so gross that I commense "operation
stinky poo" after everytime he goes. Instant scoop, and out of the house.
All windows open, air freshener and two scented candles. This is getting
old, as you may assume - so I hope it ends soon!!

Anyway, just wanted you to know you're not alone.

*IF* the vet has ruled out other causes, then canned raw pumpkin may
help. Add a glop ( how much is a glop anyway? ) or so to his wet
food. My vet says that slows down the progression of food through the
intestinal tract and absorbs fluids. That will make both of you feel
better.:)

Maybe its stress of you releasing all that crud in the cats environment.

Perfumes and scents and such though may be pleasant for humans, could be
downright overpowering torture to a cat.

No wonder he's got the sh.ts, you probably have all sorts of nasty stuff
getting into him you do on purpose.

Alittle bit of cooked liver (chicken liver) mixed into boiled rice.
NO milk at all.
