Recently my cat started licking and biting her back just above her tail -
so much, that she has pulled out the hair and little by little, she keeps
chewing off more and more! We've been to the vet 3 times, she's had 2
different shots that helped temporarily and is now taking Prednisone tabs
for 2 weeks. Nothing is different at home, same food, same litter same
everything.... Anyone have any suggestions?

Two of my cats suffered such allergies, and one of them pulled out so
much hair he had bald patches. Fleas were the problem in both cases -
so few that I couldn't detect them. Frontline solved the problem:
neither of those cats has had any significant allergy problems since I
started using it routinely every month.
