The old cat is gone. Writing an epitaph allayed my regret.

I had to put my old catty down. To make myself feel better (or anyway
see if it would) I wrote his epitaph and posted it on my web space.

Earl,

My condolences on losing Mr. Kitty Kat, which is a noble name, indeed.  He
was a beauty, had a wonderful face, and obviously enjoyed a very good life
with you.  I love orange tabbys, although I've never had the pleasure of
owning one.  The epitaph you wrote is a beautiful tribute and, while very
poignant, not at all sad as so many are.

Cherish your memories.  Someday you'll find him at Rainbow Bridge.

just be glad you did as much for him as you could. i understand about the
apts not allowing pets. so many times have i been tempted to take in a cat
(i have 3 which is the limit at my apt, and the deposit on all 3 was 1000$).
sometimes, ill let em sleep on my patio, where i have blankets and a 'cat
house' for wandering strays that need to put on some weight. thankfully, my
apt complex hasnt found out. my condolences on the loss of your kitty.

I'm so sorry. Ilost my "special kitty" two weeks ago tomorrow. I still miss
her so but we loved each other reciprocally and she crtossed over the
Rainbow Bridge where she awaits me. Larry
