One week ago I posted a eulogy for my "liile darlin", my beloved cat
Blanca. I was and still am very heartbroken and still miss her dearly. But
on the day she died a little black kitten with white "boots" showed up at
my home hungry and cold. It is a wild cat so we have'nt been able to catch
it but it eats the food we put out and our tomcat Blanco watches over it
and keeps it company.I am wondering did God send this kitten? My wife says
Blanco watched her bury Blanca and brought the little kitten home to soothe
my aching heart. As I said I still miss my Blanca so but the kitten has
brightened up and otherwise deary week. Thanks to all who posted
condolences. It has been a great help in my time of sorry. Larry

Sorry to disappoint but 'god' doesn't exist, think of it as a happy
co-incidence and look after your new little furry though.

God does exist - if you want to see him, there's evidence everywhere.

If this bothers you - why don't you just ask him why he let it happen?
If you're being serious he will answer, but he remains quiet if we question
him in an abusive way.

This is a cat group, if you want to discuss the topic further then you're
welcome to mail me privately.
Just remove the c and the invalid.

First of all thank you for responding, but I'm sorry for you that you
don't believe in the existence of God,for he is real and thats about all
I'm going to say. Have a wonderful day and thanks again for responding.

Apparently, god does exist to the OP. Why does that offend you so much?

EQ -- no friend to organized religion, or to the extremists on the OTHER
side of the coin.

It doesn't offend me, I just think it's rather pathetic when people put
anything co-incidental or unexplained down to 'God'

I would think that you can take the kitten as 'will' from your cats.
Spoil it in memory of Blanca. How old was she when she died?

Almost three years ago, after I found out my beloved Blackie had
cancer, and just two months before I had to let him go to the Rainbow
Bridge, we found three little babies, no more than five or six weeks
old, living in a stone wall next to our property. It was like a cave.
They were obviously Motherless. We started leaving food out for them,
and one started getting brave and wandering into our yard for a
handout. She is now my little Lily. We were able to bring her inside,
and within two or three days, she took over the place. We tried to get
hold of the other two, even trap them to give or find them a home, but
had no luck. Then I lost my best friend Blackie. But I too feel like
Lily was sent to fill a void in my life. I call her my Little Angel
from Heaven. She's truly Daddy's little girl. Yes, it's strange the
way things work.
