Longfellow, passed away yesterday, we buried him today. For seventeen years
he had been a friend and companion. He will be missed greatly...

Sorry for your loss!
It's ok to have a good cry...
even an old , tough army vet like me had a good cry after the loss of
my previous cat!

I feel with you, it's hard to lose a pet, you get so used to their ways and
them being around you. But he reached a good age, and that can make you
grateful.

So sorry about Longfellow. I only had my beloved Blanca for 5 yrs.  and I'm
still mourning her loss and its beem almost a month. I can imagine the loss
after 17yrs. and there is little I can say to soothe the pain in your
heart. But what a wonderful 17 yrs. it must have been. I buried my sweet
Blanca in a little flower garden next to our house and each time I pass it
I tell my little girl how much I miss her. I'm truly sorry and I hope the
passing of time can turn your grief to fond memories.Hats off to you and
Longfellow. Larry
