hello all!
I just moved into a new apartment yesterday with my boys, bud and Hoosier
(both are 10y.o. male neutered w/claws)...they've always been indoor cats
and this is my first move with them...Hoosier took it pretty well, although
he's a little freaked still...bud, on the other hand, didn't take it too
well, he's hiding underneath my bed  and WHEN he does come out, he cries,
begging to be petted and loved on (which I am more than happy to do)...I was
just wondering if there is anything I can do to make the transition easier?
I brought all their fave toys from home...what else can I do? help me?

Cats don't do change well.  He should be fine in a couple of days though.
Just let him hide if he wants to as long as he's eating, drinking, and using
the litter box (he may only be doing that at night).

Hugs,

Try making it as familiar as possible for him -- his toys, same litter
box, bowls, etc. Does he have a familiar cat bed? How about putting some
clothes or towels with your scent on them under the bed with him for now?

I'm sure he'll come out and explore after awhile.
