THe litter is the worst. What is a good litter to get that does not create
the dust and also no smell. One that will also not be tracked out when the
cat walks from it.
WHen my husband changes the litter or cleans it, the dust must linger
because I can smell it for hours after.
Of course he doesnt believe me.
Please advise.
Thanks

I like either the Arm and Hammer super clump or the Fresh Step super
clump....
But then I have a self-cleaning litter maid (Which I love I might add)

I also have a Littermaid. I have only ever used World's Best Litter because
it was recommended. It does leave a lot of dust. Is Arm & Hammer as
good/better/cheaper??

Not sure if its more expensive than WBL. I havent seen WBL it my area.
I dont find it dusty at all, though the cats do manage (of course) to
kick some of it out of the litter box during scratch.
I also have the tent that the box fits in so it all stays in a confined
area.

I need the best litter (clumping and with little dust) that is cheap. I have
14 cats and already spend a huge amount on cat food and vet costs.

Interesting - I wondered about getting the tent. I have my box in a
cupboard so I guess there's not a lot of point - except it might confine any
smells a little better. A great machine anyway. I'll look at the A&H
stuff.

In the shop this new 'plastic' (or whatever) litter was on offer. What do
people think of it?
Does anybody use it? What's it like to dispose of it? Does it smell? Do the
cats like it?

I'm a big fan of World's Best Cat Litter -- clumping,
flushable, no silica dust, unscented, biodegradable, incredible odor
control.....what could be better? Unfortunately, it is a bit spendy.

I recommend Feline Pine (http://www.naturesearth.com)
The litter is little (pine) logs which break up into a non-dusty earth
(blending with the other litter). I use this with one of my cat who wouldn't
use the box before...it's guaranteed. They also have a promotion where they'll
reimburse you for your first purchase.

I made the mistake of trying it. My cats refused to use the box while
it was in there.
