You can post them in alt.binaries.pictures.animals.
Or, if your ISP gives you webspace, you can use that.

no idea (I'm sure there's really fast applications somewhere, perhaps
even one came with your camera?)

And smart computer users will not download them to look at them.
I downlaod no attachments from anyone. Too many viruses, spyware,
malicious code. If I get an attachment by E-mail, I just trash it
unopened. I also ****never never ever**** open attachments on
usenet.
Put the photos on a web page or one of the photo services.

Get something like Photo Shop. Your camera may have software that
does it too.

<sigh> what kind of uninformed foolishness are you talking about?
There's no difference between an attachment on Usenet and an object on a
webpage.
If you've set your news program to open all attachments regardless of
type, then that's your mistake not Usenet's.

I'll repeat what I said. I open no attachments ever.
No matter whether it is e-mail or usenet, I still never ever open
them.

I have an old version of Irfan View that I use to shrink pictures. There is
a batch processing option that can be used to shrink a hundred pictures at
once. The output directory is different from the input directory, because I
don't want to overwrite the original files. You can then go through the
shrunken pictures and delete the bad ones. I don't delete large pictures.
I edit pictures with an old version of Corel PhotoPaint. PhotoShop is
better, but I don't want to spend the money.
