The thread started out as a dry\vs moist diet requirement then led to a lot of flames.
My cats eat a dry\moist mix (2 females, I know about urinary blockage in males, I
lost 3) I know cats are carnivores, etc, etc. But I have one cat that loves raw
brocolli and raw cabbage, and one who decimates bread bags to chomp part of a loaf.
The brocolli lover also steals other veggies (baby carrots, etc). The bread lover will
climb into your lap and steal bread off of a sandwich, doesn't like processed meat.
I've tried various dry and canned foods with no change. It's not really a problem, I
just give them a bit of what they want in their regular food, but this question has
roused so many. I was just wondering for my own sake. If a carnivore is craving
vegetables, what does that mean? I'm a natural carnivore, but I occasionally want a
green dinner (of course combinrd with dairy). Brocolli and cauliflower in cheese sauce
with fresh peas on the side.....mmmmmmmmmm.

This cat might need vitamins ...

Don't know about the cat wanting veggies, but for clarification, humans are
omnivores.
