Greetings Everyone,

I'm new to this group, but I have a question and can't seem to find any
answers in any of the posts so far.

My friend's cat "Easter" (long story on that one) is pulling her hair out
of her back.  She did this last Christmas, and is doing it again this year.

Her back eventually recovered last year.  We're not sure of the cause at
all.  She's an indoor cat.

I've heard suggestions that it could be fleas, dry weather, and stress.
Any thoughts you could offer would be appreciated.

Smik.....all of the suggestions that you have heard are common reasons
for why the cat would be pulling out their fur. If you feel that they
are not what is causing the behaviour, then I suggest that you take the
cat to the vet.

Make an appointment with her with a vet. A vet is the only one who can
diagnose the problem.
