One of my cats was hit by a car. It is too hard to
talk about. Have any of you learned anything about
death, our own mortality or had any religious experience
while going through this?

This was a long time ago when I lived in Sweden, but I had a stray cat that had adopted me.  Raggles was her name, She was a dear friend to me. One day my daughter who was 10 at the time was walking him in park and he bolted in front of car. It has been many years now but I dont think it ever gets easier to talk aboujt. I still have raggles collar and picture on my mantle. When I lose animal I feel like I lose  part of me and yes that makes me question my own morality. I sorry for your lose and I send purrs from my family to yours

I decided never to allow my cats to roam again.

To learn from the sad experience and keep the kitties indoors.
