Micky is really fascinated with water. While I was having a bath he balanced
along the side, slipped and fell in. He didn't like it :-)

Merry Christmas to you all

Though it's pretty rare I think... I once had a cat that would *voluntarily*
swim around in the bathtub!

Maybe I am missing something here.  How can Micky be fascinated with water
and not like it?  Then again, I suppose he LOST all fascination AFTER
falling in.  I read a post here a while back where someones cat will go into
the bath shower everytime the owner was to take a bath.  Our Somali is near
that stage but not quite ready for the steady stream.

I have some boating friends that had to move to a motel while the
boat was being hauled and having some work done. Their cat, Boo,
had never been a hotel or house so when someone flushed he would
be there to watch the water go away and return. He did the walk
around the edge of the tub bit when his mama was taking a bath.
After ten days or so of comfort, he went back to the boat and
settled in again.

I also have a cat that is absolutely facinated by water.  He will even walk in
shallow water just deep enough to cover his feet but that is all.  If I try to
bath him he will fight to get out as quick as possible.  To see Rusty go to
