Older cat, long hair.Lump about the size of a ballpark type shell peanut.
I did net search for "cysts" but only came up with
a lot of inner liver type diseases. Not the symptons I see (feel).

My brother had a cat that had a cyst on back that basically
just "popped" and oozed out fluid, and that was that.

Any net topics on this?  Tumor maybe?

It's a cat that I kind of adopted from a house across the street.
I'm hoping for more than "Take it to a vet".Maybe info or related
experience some here have had with their cat?

Thanks much.
merry xmas too!

My older dog developed lumps and after running to the vet
every time I found a new one he finally instructed me to
watch for hard lumps versus soft ones and lumps that changed
in sized.  I would say..."take it to the vet" <g> but you could
check to see if it's hard like a peanut or softer like muscle mass.
(then take it to the vet )
