Shhhhhhh..... - 25 Dec 2003 00:15 GMT
Hello.. I do hope someone can help me.. my cats anus seems to
get wider everytime he poops, i dont know if he's straining to hard
and it gets stuck that way or its a health problem. There is another
male cat in the house and im wondering if theres some 'hankypanky"
going on, and perhaps that might be the answer. It just seems to get
wider and wider, soon, his poops going to just roll on out. i hope
someone can answer this, im worried, and my vet wont be back until
late Jan.
Thanks in advance.

If your regular vet is away - there are vets who aren't. Don't be afraid to
consult them if your cat has a problem.

No one can really answer that here.  Have your can examined by a vet and he
probably can give you a TRUE answer.  Anything here would be just a pure
guess.

This has nothing to do with the other cat. There is a condition called
megacolon, that comes to my mind.  Does the cat strain to eliminate?
