Does anyone know much about cat anatomy.  My 2 year old red tabby has a lump in
the center of his back.  It feels like a vertabrae is out of place.  The thing
is he is so agile and able to get around beautifully.  It does not seem to be
worrying him at all.  Do any of your cats have lumps in the center of their
backs.
Cheers,
Vixen.

Our cat who is about 12 years old seems to have a lot of these bony lumps-
back ribs, etc. and it doesn't seem to bother him all that much.  I think
it's just something that comes with older age, although I never notices it
when he was younger.  I was told by someone that all cats develop these
lumps but never have gotten an opinion from a vet.

If it was my cat I would take it in for a check at the vets office.

I will mention it when I take him for his annual vacinations.  He is due in
January.  Thank you for your advice.
