I have a question for the group. Recently, my mom and I took in a stray
male silver tabby; we already have 2 cats that we picked up as strays, a
male red tabby and a female calico, both are fixed. We took our male silver
tabby to the vet to get him checked out to make sure that he was healthy and
to get some vaccines. A few days after the vet visit, the silver tabby
developed a film over his right eye and, at first, didn't want to eat
anything. Now the cat has his appetite back, but the film covering his eye
is still there; sometimes, it seems to go away and, other times, it comes
back. I would like to know what the film is from. Our vet said it may be
from the vaccines; we may take him back to the vet to so the vet can better
see what's what.
Any help is appreciated; thanks in advance.

If he can't see the food, take the film away from his eyes and put it back
in the VCR.

is it the third eyelid? those tend to close when the kitties aren't feeling
well. I had a kitty with eye issues, and his lids swelled up and he got a
mucus plug over his eye.. I know your not going to want to hear this, but
with any eye issues I can't recommend a trip into the vet highly enough.
