I've been using the World's Best Litter for our two cats.  It is made
up of corn.  It works great and is much better at odor control when
compared to the standard, premium, clay litter.

unfortunately, it is expensive.  The best price I've found was at the
local Petsmart for $19.00 for a large bag.

Does anyone have any cheaper recommendations or where I can get the
best price for this litter.  I want to stay with a natural type litte
similar to the type I'm using.

thanks!!!

Get a Labrador, they just pick the cat shite out and eat it...
Great, you only have to top it up every now and again..

well, I"ve been using Feline Pine, where i'm at it's about $3-4 for a
month's supply, admittedly, i have a one cat home. you also should buy the
special scoop to allow the large pieces to fall thru. but when you are done
with it, just scoop all the solid waste and use as mulch. it really does not
smell that bad. I have forgotten to scoop for a day or two because there is
NO smell, but pine.
Only problem i see with this is some ppl are allergic to pine...

There is also Swheat Scoop, a similar litter made from wheat. It's about $8-9 for
13.5 lb box at Target. These litters are lighter so you get more per pound.

CORN ????????

What the heck is it, cornmeal?
That's some very expensive corn, when raw corn usually sells for under
$3.00 for a 50lb bag.

Swheat Scoop, which is made from the leftovers from processing wheat,
seems quite a bit cheaper:

The cost of clay is probably even less than corn.
