I'd hide the cutlery and sleep with one eye open if that were my pet ;-)

Anyway, accent error aside the real question is  why in the name of
Mother Nature would anyone have the groomer do such a thing to their
pet.  Even show Animal breeds including Rabbits, Dogs and Cats are
spared such humiliation.

I'm assuming you are asking the question in a serious vein.  The
"Lion's Cut" is done on long-haired cats whose coats have become so
matted that getting the mats out one by one is impractical.  There may
be other reasons for doing it, but that's one that I'm aware of.

You ever get a bad haircut?  You'd be pissed, too!

Getting pissed won't help anything.  Just get it re-cut so it doesn't
look quite as bad, and then wait for it to grow back.

Yes, yes.  We've all seen that before, at least once.  Got anything new
to share with us, are do you plan to keep recycling old crap that's been
floating around the Usenet cesspool for a few years?
