How many toes does a cat have on its forepaw?
    Thank you.

Normally five - the fifth one (thumb) is raised and not used for
walking.  Four on each hind foot.

However, polydactyl cats are not all that unusual - some have as many
as seven toes on each front foot (Sebastian has six, but no raised
thumb except for a tiny deformed spur).
