I actually purchased one several weeks ago, realizing that it was doomed to
failure. I figured the ten bucks would get me brownie points with the
owners, even if none of them condescended to use it. To my surprise, it's
gotten some use. Lester (now in the ICU following liver cancer surgery
Saturday) took a real fondness to it, and liked to curl up around its inside
perimeter. Hope he can get over the rim of the bed when he comes home this
evening.

It appears to be a foam structure with a slip-over cloth cover.

Oh, please...I just spent $20 on portable tunnel (w/2 catnips balls) for my
resident cat .. I figured he might need a diversion while I spent time with the
newly adopted cat, getting her settled. It was used twice and discarded. He
has no interest. He prefers to chase crumpled paper balls! I could've saved
myself some money. <sigh

I also purchased a few for the shelter. The ones I bought have a fleece inside,
cotton blend fabric outside over a foam form. The price isn't bad. I make cat
beds, and it usually costs that much for the ffabric and foam/batting.
