I have two cats, 4 and 3 years old.  The younger one has always been
skitterish, but he recently has begun urinating in selected places around
the house.  We had one litter box, and now have two for the last 3 weeks.
They are cleaned daily.  The vet does not think he has an infection.  Any
ideas?

Have you changed the brand or type of litter you're using?
Is the litter box in the same location?
Are the food and water bowls too close to the litter box.? (they don't like
this)
Is there anything at all that's different there now? (take a good look)
What does the vet say besides "he does not think he has an infection".
Is the cat fixed? Is he urinating or spraying?
