My 2 year old kitty is laying down beside me while I'm typing away at the
computer screen. She is lying under the table next to me on the rug.

I really kind of find it quite surprising since she usually likes to be
somewhere off by herself.

I noticed a section of your web site that asks for donations.
I'm curious as to just how much it's costing you to run your web site, as I
thought AOL gave those member pages for free.
I guess if you can ask for donations, people can ask why and what they are
for.

I got the impression that her nail biting board is growing and more web
space is required. More than AOL will provide for free.

Judy - who bit her nails a child, but got over it. :c)

Awww.  Our Crackerjack is like that...she's independant so it's really sweet
when she gets cuddly.

BTW, are you the Rose from the alt.tv.angel/alt.tv.buffy-v-slayer groups?

Our new cat is going crazy about the computer arrow here... he's very
fascinated!

Micky is settling in very well. He's come out from under the sofa, he's
eating, only canned food though and not much, and he's purring away all day.
He's a real little darling.

Misty has a bed on top of the desk in front of the keyboard.  She almost
never fails to join me at the computer.

to answer your questions:

Yes, my nailbiting website asks for donations.  The pages started with one line
I mentioned on my main page about how I bite my nails and then I started
getting email from others and then started posting their messages and then
someone sent  me a picture of their handbitten nails and I posted it and then I
started getting private email from people asking me to send them more pictures
yadda yadda yadda.

And I do post to the buffy newsgroup too.  My cable station added the FX
channel not long ago so at least I get to watch the reruns from the beginning.
