I have several cats that seem to love romping in the cold rain ... and
coming in wet and walking all over me, but they are careful to avoid
getting so much as a drop of warm shower water on them - they sit on
the toilet and watch, but only as long as there is no overspray
getting to them.

my cat stands by the tub and cries for me to turn the water on just a
little
he then gets in the tub and laps up the water as it dribbles out of the
spigot...
about half the time he keeps drinking until a little gets in his nose and he
sneezes...
but just about everyday he *demands* that i turn the water on

My cat was the same way with the tub spigot! I finally bought a Drinkwell
Pet Fountain. He LOVES it! Sometimes he just goes over and wets his paws
with it. It is better than him jumping into the bathtub after I take my
shower and laping up the water and the hair that is on the drain! ;-)

Absolutely. Two Bengals, named Temujin and Kefka.

My cats jump in the tub with me too.
And when I mist my fern my cat Marquette tries to catch the water as it
falls.
I can't use the water bottle as a discipline tool because both of them think
it is a toy to be squirted with water. Silly cats! lol

Our cats love water too.
Our Himalayan Sealpoints both seem to want to play with water.
They jump on the toliet to watch you shower and meow, and often try to
navigate around the tub and "paw" the water. When the shower is stopped --
they jump in the tub to play in the water.
They both drink out of the sink every chance they get. The male will cry
until you turn the faucet on.
They DON'T like to be bathed. That's a "no-no".

Every time we brush our teeth,Moggy is there. After finding my tooth brush in
the kitchen and all over the house.
I decided to get him one of his own.I put water on it and he chews on it and
loves it.Now he waits for me to put water on his tooth brush.
I got myself a new one too.:-)

One of ours is fascinated with Q-tips. Speaking
of bathroom oddities. And three drink out of one
faucet but not the other. I guess their logic is that
if they've got one good drinking source, why risk
trying another. : -)
