A friend of mine's best pal Thomas died after 15 years of purring and
fighting. He was a wonderful wee cat, one of the ones who 'talk' to you
and always interested in all that was going on. So goodbye Thomas, just
hope your owner get's over her loss.

Sorry to hear about Thomas. He sounds like he had a very good life.

Tell your friend that we wrote to say that
Thomas sounds like he has given her/him
a lot of sweet memories. And that most of
us know how we felt when we lost a beloved
pet and that we hope she feels better.

Thomas sounded like a wonderful cat.  I understand how your friend feels;
about 6 years ago, we had to euthanize a dog that we had for about 12 years.
One weekend, she ate lunch and a few hours later, she threw it up and
wouln't eat anything else; all she would take in was water and she promptly
threw that up too; the only thing that stayed down was moisture from an ice
cube.  That Monday, we took the dog to the vet who ran tests on her; the
tests came back that she had cancer and a shot liver, so we decided there to
euthanize her rather than let her suffer.
