My cat, Trouble, who is 4 years old is still very much like a kitten...I guess that is due to my own playfulness with her.
One issue I have and that is that she bites my electrical cords - teething like - she actually bit through my AC adaptor for my new laptop ;-(
What can I do to stop this behavior?
I'd appreciate any and all suggestions.

If you find a solution, I would be interested too. I've
been looking for a solution for years.....haven't found one
yet.

The "bitter" spray worked well for me. Coat the area being bitten (you may have to do this
to all exposed cords).
Cord biting can not only kill the cat, but can also be a fire hazard. :(

You used to be able to buy something call Bitter Apple that you paint on
things that cats and dogs chew. Meant to work wonders - ask your vet if
they stock or know of a stockist.

Get some extremely hot hot sauce from a specialty foods store, habenero type is
best. Filter out the solids through a paper towel until all that is left is
the clearish red juice. Leave 20-30 grams out all day spread onto a glass
plate until it's partly evaporated and concentrated. Mix in a bit of rubbing
alcohol to dilute if necessary, and paint all over the cords that are being
chewed on. Let dry before putting lamps back on carpetted areas. Trust me,
they'll leave it alone after a nibble or two. Try a bite yourself to make sure
it's hot enough, you may need to paint more than once.
