It sounds like the woman who adopted the cat might be the problem. The
cat's no doubt scared and confused, and needs love and attention only
second to patience and understanding.

yes I agree Dee, Ragdolls are real lap cats, need loads of fuss, cuddles and
plenty of play time with you! they are very demanding, not good for people
who work! and love having other cats with them too.

awww poor baby, I have ragdolls they love and need lots and lots and lots
of attention don't they...... my babies follow me everywhere, I bet she is
not given him enough attention! Ragdoll need tons of affection. if mine are
not on my lap they are right beside me, mine even come to the loo with
me!!!! there are no such things as shut doors in my house, you're right I
bet he does miss his buddies :-(
I would suggest she carries him around, stop leaving him alone even if he is
asleep when she goes out the room for a few days, make him feel really
secure. My 2nd ragdoll was 6 months when I got her and she was a bit
worried, so I made a sling for her and carried her everywhere with me....
after a few days, when she was asleep I left her... she settled down really
quickly :-)
keep us informed :-)

Bless his/her heart. Ragdolls are very high maintenance in the affection
and attention category and they need lots of it. My Symba follows me
everywhere I go in my home and if I sit down somewhere, he is either in my
lap or next to me with some part of him touching me. When he wakes up from
a nap, he runs through my home crying until he finds me for some snuggle
time. They are very social cats and I am sure that he misses his buddies
and now feels alone. They do not like to be alone.
