It usually takes a new cat a couple of days to calm down. You may find that
in a few days she is not as clingy. Hopefully, she will begin to eat
tomorrow. Make sure she has a "safe" room that is quiet for these first few
days. Congratulations.

The cat needs to adjust for a few days into her new environment give her a
few days to settle into her new home.  Kittens ajust quicker then adult
cats.  I suggest giving the cat at least 3-4 days to adjust to her new home.
It is very normal for a cat to not eat or drink for a few days when in a
different environment.  Leave the food out for her and when she get hungry
enough, she will eat.  Also make sure you are feeding her the same thing
that the center was feeding her, or that may be your problem.  If within 3 -
4 days she still isn't eating or drinking, then call a vet. But don't rush
her, she needs to get used to you and to her new home.  Cats go under stress
just like we do.
Good luck.  Don't worry just yet.
