he puts his gun down ?
astrog :-)
He will give you his pin number (but
almost never to the main account).
And if he walks around while you
are on his shoulders, that's a good sign.

They sleep on your head.

That happens to me and my wife.
Sometimes one of them just puts
his paw on my face and fall asleep.

When you can hold them over water without a single instinctual squirm.
Ceaite was on the verge of falling into the tub while I was taking a
bath (she usually walks around and plays hide 'n seek and tag behind
the shower curtain; she lives in the tub when no one's using it), so I
picked her up to move onto the floor. Last time this happened, much
panic and mild scratches occured. This time, utterly calm, tail
wagging slowly and happily curling in the water, and much purring. She
just sat down beside the tub once I let her down and cleaned herself.
Now that's a trusting cat!

I'd say so. My cat runs if I rattle a plastic bag. She is getting better
but she's been her for almost 10 months and still gets spooked. I
can only imagine what her life was like before.
On the other hand, 2 of the 4 kittens I foster will kind of cling
with their nails when I try to set them down from a standing
position...but two of them don't at all. They almost go limp
while I bend down to set them on the floor. Not sure if it's
trust or ignorance (having not fallen yet <g>).

One of ours sits on my stomach
when I take a bath. I have a big
stomach so maybe there isn't so
much trust involved. Sorry for the
unpleasant mental image. : -)

Yeah, my little one, Tiger, doesn't know how sharp his hind claws are. When he
gets ready to jump off my lap he scrunches down, digs his rear claws into me
and then the rocket booster goes off and he makes his jumb. I don't know why,
but Handsome, the elder of the 2 doesn't have very sharp claws and doesn't dig
them in when he wants down. YOUCH! :)

Handsome is a very cool name for a cat.
