Hi! (It's me, Dee, using a friend's account)

It's been quite a week.  I think the last time I wrote, I'd been looking
for a home for little stray Ceili.  Luis brought her home late last Sunday
night, skinny and scared.  She's settled in quite well, and the other cats
seem to accept that she's here, though they don't venture into "her room"
too often.  She eats like it's going out of style, but it still quite
thin.

I'd gotten a mail from a nice woman in New York who was interested in
giving Ceili a home, and want to apologize for not getting nack to her.  I
can't remember her name because I can't access my mailbox, and hope that
she sees this in one of the newsgroups.  We had a hurricane!  Weather
around here has gotten crazy in the past few years, and my electricity was
out from Thursday until late last night.  I don't know whether or not the
problem I'm having accessing my mail is related or not.  Anyway, talk to
you all soon.

Dee

p.s.  Cheryl I hope you and yours braved Isabel ok!

There's been a serious "virus" email "storm" going on right now.  A
virus that
is causing everyone to get mail bombed.  That likely has caused your
problem accessing your mail.

Wow, you're not kidding Robert!  I've spent nearly an hour on the phone
with our OIT guys between yesterday and today ...and they just keep on
comin'!
