The way I get my cat to exercise I get the bottle of flea spray
and shake it a couple of times and POOF where'd the cat go?

Yeh, packet of Frontline has the same effect

OK - Laser Pointers are way too cool - here is my experience.
TIGGER
---------------------
He likes them, will chase them for a good thirty minutes to an hour, when it
goes away, he kind of just forgets it.
TOOTSIE
---------------------
OK, Tootsie goes PSYCHOTIC over these things :) I will try and get another
one, and post a video. She will chase it at full speed throughout the
house, and if I point up a wall or door she will do her best to scale the
entire height to catch her little red demon. This is a serious note, not
sure if good or bad. She will not settle for days after using the toy. She
sits and waits in "hunter mode" expecting this little red dot to reappear at
any minute, and she is very jumpy. I think she might like it :)
Havent a clue how Tango would react as not tried it with him yet, but
judging by his other playful habits, he would probably be very much into it
too.
PS - much more effective in the dark, very early in the morning. This is
when my cats "go crazy" :)

wow this sounds an excelent toy, my cats sit around and sleep al day, (wel
so do i actualy but thats another matter), although they free to go outside
i suspect they just go and find a nice warm spot in the sun and sleep too
lol, of course when its cold like now they in doors al the time and sleeping
too, im woried they dont get enough excercise, especialy Polo my 3 legged
one who likes his food so much and is showing signs of geting fat and his
one fron leg hasnt realy got that much stronger to comepnsate he tends to
jump off chairs and land on his hind legs, bit like a kangeroo lol, i try
cut down on his food but then he brings me in mice, wich at least means hes
geting some excercise, of course i try put just enough food ouit for them
but Polo always eats whatever the other cat leaves.
i dont unfoirtunatly i dont have the energy to play with them that much,
this would be ideal as it would be efortless for me and potentialy lots of
fun and excersise for the cats. mine are both about 6-7 years old, and
quickly get bored of any new fluffy mice on bits of string etc.

Be careful not to point the laser in the cats eyes, I think this can damage
them.
