It is a wonderful thing you have done Robert. Your story brought a tear to
my eye. When meeting wonderful people who do wonderful things, it always
does :) This is a lucky cat to have found you. Reminded me of my neighbours
Lucky who simply followed my neighbour one day home, and refused to leave :)
15 years later black Lucky is all white around her eyes and a bit bugged
with arthritis, but nevertheless happy to be surrounded by people, cats and
a dog who love(+d) her, in a worm home and with most delicious food.
Animals undoubtedly change our lives for the better. My life before them was
just not fulfilled and I didn't know what love means till my QT died. Being
surrounded by 5 of them makes me feel happy and worm. They gave me so much
joy and happiness over the years, that the least I can do for them is give
them the best food I can afford and the warmest bed they want to sleep on.
And millions of scratches.
I used to be a dog person.
Until I met a cat :)

Thank you Robert, do you believe in karma? look it up if you need to.

I thought Karma meant Luck but wasn't sure so I looked
it up. If there is an afterlife maybe I have a chance of
coming back as something good. When a person comes
back in a new life are they Human or Animal or does it
depend on their actions in a previous life?
The definition in the dictionary wasn't detailed. If my CD-ROM
was working I could load an encyclopedia and check.
check out my homepage. i have a kat on there named Vlad the Impaler kitty.
He arrived one morning as i was heading to work. i have a doormat that says
'WIPE YOUR PAWS'. when i was walking out, i opened the door, Vlad was
sleeping on my doormat. im guessing he USED to belong to someone in this
complex, but they saw the doormat and left him for me. lemme tell ya, no
disrespect to any hispanics here, but the vast majority of 'hispanics' here
in satx just throw animals out, they never take them to the vet. pisses me
off, lemme tell ya, specially since *I* am hispanic (of spanish
origin).anywho, i took vlad in, and it was one of the best things ive done.
i have 3 heathens now, Giant, who i adpoted from this middle eastern family
that was fleeing persecution right after 9/11, Vlad, who appeared on my
doorstep, and Cami, the calico i adopted from the local college shelterall 3
kats LOVE each other. they all sleep on the backseat of my car at night. its
so cute! FWIW, i race my daewoo, and i removed all but the drivers side
seat. the backseat is currently in my kitchen area, and the passenger seat
is in the closet. the kats love the backseat, its like their new scratching
post :) anywho, good job on what you did, taking in strays is one of the
best things you can do. no animal deserves to be thrown out like yesterdays
garbage.
