Is there anything other than pills that can be given to an elderly cat with
arthritis? She doesn't do well with pills. Thanks.

Unfortunately I don't know but pls post your Q on alt.med.veterinary someone
might know.
My neighbour squashes her cats tablets between two spoons and mix it with
food. Also she gives her Cod liver oil for arthritis as an addition to
regular medication.
Best wishes

there is cosequin, a supplement you can mix into their food. There are a
few natural treats to help supplement as well. For the most part though,
you'll want to use an anti inflammatory, which means pills. There are a lot
of pharmacies where you can have it compounded into a liquid that has liver
or fish flavors to make it easier.
