My cat seems to like eating spider webs! At least she does when I get
up in the morning and she is waiting for me to feed her. She'll hang
around the bathroom after I've taken my shower to remind me that she
needs to be fed, and while there pokes her head into all the corners
as is her duty first thing in the morning. Lately she's been seen
eating a spider web or two (helps with the cleaning, my being a
bachelor...). I've never seen this before nor did a search of this
group turn up anything when I searched for spider web. I've lived with
cats all my life and this is the first I remember seeing this. She may
have eaten spiders before. I thought that may be why her stomach was
upset a few times.

What do you think? These would be little webs, little spiders, not
anything too big.

Cheers,

Spiders are unlikely to upset her stomach. In fact, one of my cats used to
regularly find, play with & eat Sydney Funnelweb spiders (died of old
age...). These are a highly poisonous spider to most other species.

I would say she learnt as a kitten that spiders are fun to play with as did
mine. The rest, you should just appreciate the help with the housework!
