My 9 month old cat, Joey has an annoying habit.

When he comes to bed to cuddle, he likes to suck on the quilt as if he hasnt
been weaned. Its annoying becouse its noisey and the bedcovers end up with
wet spots all over. (which i inevitably end up waking up on)

How can I stop the bahavior?

you could make the habit less desirable to do by making loud noises or doing
what ever it is you do to tell your cat not to do something when he starts
suckling... but chances are you'll never fully get him out of it.

Good luck!! We have a 1 1/2 year old male which was raised on a bottle and he has sucked
himself (His penis) ever since no matter what we do and we have tried everything!!! At
night we can hear him but he stays just far enough from us on the bed so we can not reach
him. We finally gave up and let him!!

I am not asking for suggestions so please do not start sending all these far out ideas or
others like usually happens. As long as he is happy and heathly we can live with it. By
the way he goes to vet regularly and the vet said he is find so please do not tell me to
see a vet OR a different vet!!
