Hi, I have a cat that chases his tail. Now, I know if a dog ( if
that's sacraligish here, sorry ) if he chases his tail that means he
has worms but what does that mean with cats, thanks

People who love cats can love dogs too...and birds and
iguana's and fish and horses and.......
Dogs often chase their tail just to play, it doesn't
necessarily mean worms. Cats do it for the same
reason....it's something to chase.

Hmmmmm...it usually means that the other cat has made it clear that
her tail is NOT a toy!
Unfortunately, the instigator (Eddy, a four-and-a-half month old
kitten) seems to only remember this for a few hours. I think that he
and Maggie, the other cat, woudl be good friends if he could just be
calm around her!

Two of my cats, Gidget and Darla both occasionally chase their tails.
Sometimes they even catch them. If our manx, Bobby Pants ever feels
the need to chase his tail (a little bulbous nub) he'll have to run
--------------------------------------------->reeeeeeeeally fast.

Caught one of mine doing that on video;

He's generally a dork, the other more composed kitties don't do this (at
least not where I can see them).

My kittens chase each other's tails
, and My Nocturne can stuff her own tail in her mouth, it's that long.
