cats and EMF

Is there any truth in something that I heard, and seems to hold true with my
cat Priscilla. They like to be near electronic equipment e.g. PCs, TVs etc
because of the EMF produced. If true, I shall get a mobile phone for my
cat:)

I've never heard of that. My cats don't do it. Maybe the cat is
getting near the TV/PC to get your attention?

BTW, there is a guy in Japan who invented a cell phone that lets you
"talk" to your dog. That was on the news recently.

Electronic equipment gives off heat. Cats like warm spots. Ergo, cat on the
cable box or computer monitor.
