I have a potential dilemna and need some advice. My wife's elderly
aunt is going in the hospital, and asked us to take care of her cat.
He's an older make, indoor/outdoor baby. We have nine cats of our own.
Yes, nine. All neighborhood strays we've taken in over the past six
years. They all get along fine. I really want to help this little guy
out, as his options are very limited. I'm just wondering what's the
best way to introduce an older cat to the household. All the rest came
to us as kittens and the older ones had a chance to get to know them.
I don't want this new guy to be traumatized, or run away never to be
seen again. I'm kind of a nervous wreck worrying about it. Any advice?
Thanks much.
