We brought in a mother and 3 kittens in the spring. We found homes for 2 of
them and kept the mother and the 3rd baby. They just both got "fixed" on
Tuesday and are now back home. The baby wouldn't stop nursing so they had to
wait till now. He's a big boy. He's 8 lbs. and only 4 months old. They are both
tuxido cats. We love them and so does our yorkie. It makes me feel so good to
have done this. It's been a great experiance and when we brought them home
yesterday from the vets and the baby jumped in my arms...what a feeling.
There's nothing better!

Wow!  That is a big boy.  I love tuxedo cats.  Only one of ours is a
tuxedo, and he's a tabby-tuxedo.  He's really fat, has tall white
boots on his back feet, and his bow tie (I make all of my cats wear a
bow tie) is red, with white polka-dots.  When he meow's, he goes
through all of the facial motions, but only a tiny tiny little squeak
comes out.

None of our cats actually ever jumped into my arms that I recall, but
the two gentlemen that used to live across the street from us had a
bob-cat named Nala that my daughter and I used to go play with that
would come running into the room to greet us, and one time she jumped
into my arms, nearly knocking me down.  She was beautiful - but a
little bit scary.

Okay........a lot scary.

How cute! Taking them to the vet's can be a great bonder. ;)

He is a very big boy. Ours are 5 mos. old now and I thought our one guy
was big at 7 lbs. The other two are 4.5 and 5 lbs.

Glad your guys are doing well after surgery.

Make sure you have them tested for feline Leukemia and feline AIDS
(FIV), and have them dewormed.

We have brought in a feral tom, and two orphan kittens.  The tom had
an awful case of worms and required multiple dewormings.

best of luck with your expanded family!
