itty bitty kitties, three divine,
newborn encased in nebulous slime
mother cleans with loving tongue
the vestiges of womb sublime.

fur and whiskers so prickly sweet
mouthing for a sustaining teat.
tiny paws in rhythmic pulse
kneading to each hearts life beat.

twitch and dream in safety's mire
til nature doth wake curiousity's desire
then warm hands open out the door
to the enigmatic world of mouse, dog and tire!

Best wishes for your new kittens James! Myraide

~~~AllisonWonderland~~~:
HAY Myraide. This is VERY good!!! You write this? You seem to have a really
nice way with words. :)
And you should see these three. All big&healthy, no runt! :)
And the two White ones have two Black smudges between their ears... One
kit's set of smudges is bigger than the other kit's set of smudges. I'm
feeling the urge to name them according to the smudges... Like
BigSmudg&LittleSmudge. The smudges look like they've been out inspecting the
underside of my cat's engine!
The little Black&Gray striper is a spittin' image of Wonderous. Vinnie is
obviously their father.
And I counted today, BBC has been gone for 51 days. I don't think he's ever
been gone that long. He may be gone forever. But we will see. After all, he
IS a "man of the world"! :) I was always his human more than he was my cat.
Anyway, I am going to get some photos of TraLaLa and her brood. And all I
have left to put on the website are the six kittens. Wonderous, Trash,
Crash, SukiTwo, OtherTwo, and Agent. And then I am going to start putting up
some of my cats that have passed on, or have disappeared. I have lots of
pictures, but they have to be scanned because they were taken before I got
my digital camera.
Anyway, I did some work in the SpaRoom today. I took the sheetrock off of
the door opening in the South wall. I'm going to take the HotTub out that
way since is was just a quarter inch too deep to go out the door between the
LivingRoom and the SpaRoom. The opening that I did today is three feet wide.
I will get the HotTub out and then will reframe it to fit the door that I
have for that opening. Then I will sheetrock, tape&float, texture&paint and
the SpaRoom will be ready to begin work on the TherapyTub, the
HotWaterHeaterCloset, the Washer&Dryer cove, the FoldingTable/IroningBoard,
and all the shelves that I plan to put in there.
I have been looking at the CeramicTile that will go in the tub, and there is
some beautiful stuff out there.
Also, yesterday I stopped by the stone place just to the East of town, and
found a pallet of SanSabaSandStone, that weigh 1.57 tons! The guy said he
will deliver it to my place for $223.00 total. There is enough pieces to
make the planter around the WeepingWillowTree, and a wall around the whole
patio. And they are all pieces that I can handle without help. Also, it is
like FlagStone... It can be split with a chisel to make thinner pieces for
laminating. I got a book on stone work for gardens, and the ideas are just
starting to come.
Anyway, I'm into Houston tomorrow.
Hope this finds you doing well.
Heh heh heh heh :) (Not genuine ~~~AW~~~ without this chuckle)
Hi James!  Well now that I look at it again I do not like it as much.
My style (word usage) is too eclectic.  I mean *itty bitty kitties*
with *doth* :( But if I write something and try to rework it too many
times I end up not likeing the piece either.  But I still like the
last line in this one!  Anyway the idea was to say congrats in a
special way. :)
That is nice and maybe they will all stay healthy and survive.
Your *cat's* engine? is that were the purring sound comes from?  :)
That will be neat!
I know.  So many choices it boggles the mind.  Some really good stuff
can be found at a good price, in the clearance area.  And if there is
just a little of this or that, why not mix and match?  There I go with
my eclecticity again.
I hope you have a comfortable trip (on the bus again?) and everything
is Ok.  I found some of your posts to me that I did not see before so
I did not answer.  sorry.  Maybe later when I have more time.  The
turkeys are three now as the one never did show up again.  He was the
one that was making the weird movements with his head and neck.  But I
have not found a pile of feathers anywhere either.  Myraide
I noticed that... It should have been "itthy bitthy kitthise" with "doth" I
just thought you were making fun of CharlesCollins!
~~~AW~~~:
Strangest thing... The one with the little smudges, has had almost all the
Black hair the made up the smudges disappear! It may be going BALD! Imagine
that! An enlightened kitten! :)

M:

~~~AW~~~:
I hope so. Yesterday evening, I got to the door just in time to see all the
cats kind of scattering... I looked out and there was Upstairs on his back
having a seizure or a fit of some sort. I went out and picked him up and he
was just all agog... I brought him in where it was cool and calmed him down,
but he was still distraught. And I noticed that he was panting (very unlike
a cat to pant). So I kind of figured that it might be a heat stroke. So I
take him to the sink, and I get the water running where it is just tepid,
and I start spraying him with the spray wand. And he settled right down. I
grabbed my bottle of cat shampoo and lathered him all over, and then rinsed
him really good, and then wrapped him in a towel and took him to the SpaRoom
and put the hair drier on him. Got him all dried off, and then took him into
the LivingRoom, put him on the floor, and just gently brushed and stroked
him. And this morning, he is fine. But I was really concerned... During his
fit, he was lying on his back just kicking and quivering all over. Strangest
thing I ever saw him do.
M:
~~~AW~~~:
I meant "car's" engine... I hate it when THAT happens.

~~~AW~~~:
But I still have to get the pics of the "Gang of Six" kittens up. I'll start
that today (I hope). I'm still a little knocked out from the trip into
Houston yesterday.
~~~AW~~~:
Well, I have enough tiles to do the top of the TherapyTub in
WhiteCeramicTile. and then the vertical sides and bottom of the TherapyTub
will be Black, except for the where the Black sides meet the White tops.
That layer of tiles will be a carved/textured ring around the tub. That
should look REALLY nice.

M:

~~~AW~~~:
Yes it was on the bus. And there were only two other passengers going in,
and three others coming back. And my part of the trip went perfectly. I got
there at 10:00 a.m. was done by 10:40 a.m. Went and had KungPaoShrimp for
lunch, and then went back to the SmithTower (where the lab is) and napped
until 1:00 p.m. and felt kind of out of it, so I went and got a cup of
coffee. Then when I walked out to be picked up at 1:30 p.m., I no more than
walked out the door till there was the bus! :) I love it when THAT happens.
M:
I sometimes have that happen tool.
M:
~~~AW~~~:
Well, turkeys like cats come&go!

Well, this morning, all the cats except for Saucee, BBC, and Vinnie showed
up . Saucee is in heat, and so that MAY account for Vinnie&Saucee not coming
in. But I'm not worried about them. I saw Saucee last night, but she didn't
want to come in. The little SLUT! :)

Anyway, I'm going to go do a couple of pavers, and then it's back to bed for
me to recuperate from the trip into Houston. I was up at 3:15 a.m., and
didn't get back home till 4:15 p.m. So it was a long day for me. But I had a
cup of coffee around 1:00 p.m. and couldn't go to sleep till about 11:00
p.m.

And today, I'm going to go to the BackyardOasis place, and they have a quote
for all the stuff for the waterworks for the ThearapyTub. So, I'll be back
later on today.

Hope you have a wonderscanned day!

Heh heh heh heh :) (Not genuine ~~~AW~~~ without this chuckle)
