There are 3 kinds of cat arranging (so far)
cat level- moving cats near each other in cute
positions for pictures or just for fun
remote control- getting cats into the general
area you want them (possibly for cat level
arranging) by using a string attached to a
stick, or something similar. This is especially
useful if the cat(s) are in a drawer on the other
side of the room.
micro arranging- moving a cat or kitten's paws
to help them block the light or something similar,
maybe to get into a more comfortable position.
This is also part of arranging for pictures.
It has been fun to find that the cats are quite
appreciative of being placed near their favorite
other cat.

tip #1: If you want your cat or kitten to
lie down, lift the scruff of their neck.

I disagree.
Cat arranging is very useful for artists and photographers.
It requires patience, intelligence and skill.

That was supposed to be a joke: de-ranged from
cat arranger. oh well, I won't give up my day job
as cat arranger. Not many people like this kind
of hobby. I guess I'm the lone arranger.

Cats like to be 'arranged' because it is what their
mothers used to do to them when bringing them to
a new place or getting ready to feed them.
They also love that you realize how much they
like each other's companionship and that you aren't
envious. They also can't always get into comfortable
positions because they move simultaneously.
