My cat is now about 3 months old , I've just bought it home for 2 weeks.
The cat is playful and very lovely, however, the problem is that it has
quite frequent bowel opens per day, about 7-8 times.
The stool is not watery but quite soft, the cat don't show any signs of
discomfort and it also can gain weight.  I tried anyother brand of cat food
but the situation didn't improve.
Is it normal for a little kitten to have frequent bowel open a day?

No, this is not normal. What exactly are you feeding?  I would recommend
that if you are feeding only canned, to get some high quality dry kibble,
and to have it in a bowl for the cat to snack on throughout the day.
sometimes this will firm up the stools. He should have no more than a couple
of bowel movements a day.
Also has the kitten been checked for worms?

It's not normal, but common with kittens.

You *must* worm a kitten at least three times, ask a vet.
Don't give it any milk at all.
Don't change food brands too often.
Feed dry food too.
Give a little cooked liver (chicken, beef, whatever).
I have had good success with special cat food for sensitive stomachs.
Here they're called 'selective, sensitive, sensible' and the like.

I have been giving dry food only to my cat from the first day my cat home my
home, a formula specified for young cat less than 12 months old
Actually my cat was bought from a petshop, the owners are quite knowledgable
with the pet care, at least they seemed to be a one, and i trusted them.
So, I weren't aware of that my cat might have worms inside it's body, thank
you for reminding me this.
However, my cat is just 3 months old, is the deworm drug available in the
market safe for it?

Look for a kitten wormer. Your local vet or petshop should have one if you
cannot find one at the supermarket. All wormers should have the age you can
use it to worm your cat written on the back.

Do not use over the counter wormers.  Take the kitten AND a stool sample
to the vet and get professional advice.  The de-worming medicine must be
for the type of worms that the kitten has.

Maybe the food isn't agreeing with the little kitten???  I would take it to
the vet for a check up.  You don't even know if it is worms.  Could be
something else.  A vet will help you out.
