Nutmeg is strictly an indoor cat. For entertainment when nobody's home, we
installed a window bird feeder. I was afraid at first that she might go
nuts-- flinging herself at the glass etc. But she seems satisfied to watch
quietly, like it's Cat TV.

Why does it always seem to be WOMEN that incarcerate cats ?
Keeping any creature in confinement is cruel, unnatural and undignified.

Oh, get off it, Scumbag. You're a silly old queen. In areas where danger
overwhelms safety, keeping ones pet inside the house is the epitome of
mercy. In urban as well as suburban areas, the streets are not infrequently
adorned with the bodies of small animals hit by cars; and animal control (a
misnomer that should be called animal riddance) regularly picks up loose
animals and destroys them.
Areas in the Earth's Temperate Zone are a haven for parasitic insects and
other kinds of infectuous germs that wandering pets readily acquire.
Veterinarians pay for their new cars by treating and patching up the pets of
idiots like you.
Get your silly head out of your a.s.
