The shuttle bus just made its scheduled trip to the vet to get Hissy's
stitches taken out. I usually snip them out myself, but this time she had a
suture bruise that I wanted the vet to take a look at. He says no problemo.
Hissy is a 12 year-old Calico that I scooped up nearly three years ago
because her owner wouldn't get her spayed, and she was getting pg every
season. When the vet spayed her, he found a cyst in her uterus and mammalian
tumors on her chest. Since then, she has had three more minor surgeries to
remove small tumors that form.
She also gets Glucosamine daily for arthritis as well as Risotriene? (google
it). All my cats<inside and outside>get Risotriene?, and it has greatly
reduced my annual vet bill. (Last year it was over $11,000--excluding
food, and this year so far it is not above $3,000).
My cat Arnold with diabetes gets megadoses.
My neighbor also gives it to his elderly dog with diabetes, and she has
shown great improvement.
