: He's doing a three way split...he lives with me too. He even started out as a
: feral ....thank heavens he landed in a home.
Two weeks ago one of the two feral kitties
that we adopted bit my hand. Not a nip or
a bite really but a crushing clamp that I thought
was going to break my knuckle. There were
5 different bites, two of which got infected.
Tonight my wife brought her into the computer
room in her arms purring. I put my head next
to her to hear her purr and she nuzzled me and
insisted on sitting on my chest. She wouldn't let
my wife pick her up until I nuzzled her back
all the way to my wife's arms.
This story isn't exactly truthful though because
both of the feral kitties look so much alike that
I can't tell which one bit me. Both are sleeping
on the bed and getting petted and played with
a lot, thanks mostly to our other cats who really
encouraged them to accept us. They were both
under a friends house with the mom who is
completely feral, according to our friend. It
took almost two weeks for us to be able to
touch them. It was scary but now they are
friendlier than some of our other cats who
were born under our bed.
