My cat has a bacterial ear infection and the vet gave me some otibiotic
ointment.  I see "For otic use in dogs only" all over the box.  Should I use
this?  I'm sure it's ok but I'd like to hear of any experiences.

I would call the vet & ask him. I do know they have a cream for ear
infections for cats. Could be he accidently gave you the wrong one.
