I was at work the other day (I work at Walmart) and I was fixing up our pet
department in the morning, and saw a product that said it was designed to
keep animals and strays away from your bushes...that sort of thing.  It
specifically mentioned stray cats and dogs.  Then as I looked at the back of
it, it said something to the effect of "Use with caution.  Product contains
chemicals that can be toxic to humans and domestic animals."

What the heck???  Gee, if it's toxic to domestic animals and humans, you
would also think it would be toxic to the poor strays.  I pray that no one
feels the need to buy this stuff.

Please bring this to your store manager's attention & ask to have it
pulled off the shelves  Many people buy products & don't bother reading
the warnings.

What was the name of the product?  Could it be one of these things
that is safe when used according to instructions but is dangerous if
the instructions are not followed?  Or if the use is different than
what is described in the instructions?

When I go to work tonight, I'll look at it again.  I'll get all the
specifics.  All i remember was that warning, and that it came in an aeresol
can and said to spray on dirt, or around plants, as it may harm the plants
too.  But, I'll write down the *exact* warning, and the ingredients.

One would hope that it's something that smells repulsive to "domestic
animals" and they wouldn't ingest it. Does it mention the ingredient
which is toxic ?

I'm sure it does.  And when I go to work tonight, I'll write down everything
about it (brand, chemicals listed, warnings, etc.)
