I have two cats who mated. They are siblings and only 7/8 months old. Now
she is pregnant. Is this a bad thing?

It is very young for the female to be pregnant? Have you considered
neutering both cats?

Do you really need to ask?

Well... that's kind of a loaded question. :) You should get both cats fixed,
so yeah, the pregnancy is a bad thing in that regard. There are too many
unwanted cats without adding to the problem. The inbreeding issue, IMO,
isn't as bad as the first problem. I have 2 cats who's mother/aunt mated
with their uncle/father.. if ya get my meaning... They're both fine. If the
cats have been inbred for several generations though, that's when you get
problems.
Anywho... get them both fixed... If mama has healthy kittens, get them fixed
too.

Of course, this is highly illegal - and technically (and morally),
constitutes incest.
Are the defendants Rednecks at all ? - as this would be the only legal
mitigation I'm aware of.
The chances of foetal abnormality in the normal population is 96% - and
between siblings 90% .... so you needn't be excessively worried.
That said, if they have a 10-kitty litter - there's a chance that one of
them will be a bit "odd".

Yes, it's like a 10 year old girl being pregnant. Her body is not fully
developed or ready for pregnancy. Pls take her to the vets for the op, they
can perform full hysterectomy including aborting the unborn kittens. This
may not be the perfect solution, but there is far too many unwanted cats in
the world already...
