Bartholomew County, June 2 - Little Charlize is a one-month-old kitten
that survived torture by vandals. Bartholomew County Humane Society
officials say someone hung her upside down with a rope and burned the
kitten with a lighter.
"It burned all the hair on her face to the nasal passage," says Jane
Irwin with the Humane Society. "The tip of her tongue and her lips are
burned. I have done this job 25 years, I still can't get my mind
around this level of evil."
Charlize is getting good care and will be adopted by the animal
control officer investigating the case.
Two other kittens died from abuse.
Poice say vandals damaged equipment at a Taylorsville grain bin where
the kittens lived.
The Humane Society already raised more than $2,000 for information
leading to an arrest.

why do you post these articles? I know there's
a lot of cruelty and madness around but I don't
really need to read about it in detail.

Then don't. Look at the subject line... if the word "torture" is in
there, smart money says its not a happy article.
