Back in January I posted about Tasha dying from pancreatic cancer a few days
after I took her in to find out what was wrong. She was the first cat I
lost. Recently, I noticed my very first cat, Riker (he's 15 now), was skinny
( like Tasha was) and acting funny. I tried to deny it to myself but I
finally took him to the vet. I thought it was another death sentence. Not!
He had a badly hyperactive thyroid. It was removed a week ago and he'd doing
fine!!! And he's doing well and slowly gaining weight.

For anybody in Pittsburgh - I recommend this vet! She's on the east side of
the city in the suburbs. I'll never forget what she said after the exam - "I
like these kinds of problems because I can fix them".
